About us:
Social Human Action for Rural Empowerment (SHARE) Society came into being where a col lection of women groups saw the significance of working towards development of the vulnerable groups (women and chi ldren) in the rural areas. Women and chi ldren have experienced violence in multi aspects and their voices and concerns are often taken as granted. In order to upl ift the condition of vulnerable women and chi ldren and to sensitize the community, the SHARE Society had been establ ished as a Voluntary and Non-Governmental Organisation.
Our Vision & Our Mission
Vision
To build a society where there is gender justice, equality and respect for human rights across all sections, where women and children are involved in all development interventions and peace process, where there is a change in development perspectives from ‘needs’ to ‘rights’.
Mission
The SHARE seeks to organise, accelerate health, economics, social and education to rural women and children, atrocities and child labour, to give educational rehabilitation to the hearing and speech impaired children in the area.
